Industrial wall fans for harsh working conditions. FARM fans are available in a square housing (hole diameters from fi315 to fi560 inclusive), larger models are available in a round housing – FARMO. The FARM (O) series fans were created for users who are looking for an industrial wall fan with a solid construction. A wide range of performance allows the use of FARM (O) fans in both small rooms and large-area buildings.
What distinguishes FARM fans?
The fan housing is made of powder-coated steel sheet, thanks to which the fan is much more resistant to mechanical damage than fans in a plastic housing. The FARM fans use a special motor with a reinforced housing and tightness (IP66 protection level), thanks to which the fan can be used in facilities with significant pollution (welding rooms, chicken coops, piggeries, cowsheds, kitchens, catering premises).
Easy installation and service of the fan.
The electrical box of the FARM fans has been built into the motor body at the front, thanks to which the installer can connect the power cord after embedding the fan in the wall, freely configuring it (e.g. for a single-phase inverter). The tight motor body allows for easy cleaning (without dismantling the fan from the installation) by washing with a pressure washer.
NOTE: FARMO fans use an IP55 motor with a side connection box, increased motor protection degree available at an extra charge. Another facilitation for the user is the way of attaching the rotor. The rotor hub is made of aluminum alloy using the pressure casting method, which ensures a very precise fit to the motor shaft and, above all, easy disassembly, e.g. in the event of the need to replace the bearings.
Innovative shovel profile.
The FARM(O) fans use a specially designed blade profile that gives the fan the following advantages:
silent operation (fans with 900 rpm and 700 rpm motors
increased static pressure (fans with 1400 rpm motors)
The fan blades are made of polyamide, thanks to which the fan is more resistant to aggressive and moist medium. At the customer’s special request, the fan can also be made in a chemically resistant casing.
Fans up to 1.5kW are available with 230V or 400V power supply. Larger models come with a 400V power supply. FARM(O) fans are designed to regulate the speed of:
single-phase fans (1F) – voltage regulation
three-phase fans (3F) frequency control
