WZD is a special design of a roof fan integrated with a gravitational ventilator. WZD fans replace two separate structures requiring two roof openings.
Integrated fan - how does it work?
Integrated fans are used for ventilation of industrial buildings with variable demand for air exchange. This is the so-called two-channel ventilation. The air extraction takes place as follows:
internal duct – mechanically by means of a fan
external channel – by gravity
Such a ventilation system allows you to ventilate two different rooms with one fan, e.g. connecting a roof fan to the toilet room and a gravitational duct to ventilate the hall. Integrated ventilators can also be used for hybrid ventilation – natural ventilation as basic ventilation and mechanical ventilation as emergency.
Installation directly on the plinth.
As a standard, WZD ventilators are equipped with a B/II type roof base, thanks to which they can be mounted directly on a chimney or plinth. At the customer’s special request, it is possible to make a plinth for a given ventilator, as well as other accessories, i.e. noise silencers, non-return flaps, dampers, etc.
