Z2 – zone where there is a low probability of an explosive mixture of gases, vapors or mists, where the explosive mixture may occur only for a short time.
Z22 – a zone where there is a low probability of an explosive dust mixture and there is a short time, e.g. during a breakdown.
FAN MARKING acc. to ATEX:
Temperature class for gases: from T1 to T3

The OFK EX fan.
The OFK EX fan, thanks to its compact housing, is used in many technological installations of the chemical industry where there is a risk of gas or dust explosion. They are used, among others, in battery rooms, laboratories, paint shops, gas stations, refineries and sewage treatment plants.
The fans are intended for installation on round duct systems. The fan is mounted using mounting flanges for flange-connected ducts or for spiro ducts with nipple connections (additional counter-flanges must be used). Motors adapted to speed regulation (dedicated inverter offered by TYWENT and EX relay required). The fan housing is made of steel sheet covered with a special anti-electrostatic coating. At the customer’s special request, it is also possible to make it of acid-resistant steel.
